Default Valve Spring Question

I just recently bought a 1990 Honda CRX, and the guy that I bought it from put a d16y8 1.6L Vtec in it. I want to put a stage 3 cam in it, and I was wondering what kind of springs I need to put in the motor to match the cam so I don't end up floating the valves.

Also, where can I get a cam and springs for it? I don't care how much it is, just want to see how much it runs for. I checked Skunk2, but they only sell stage 1 cams for the d16y8.

Stage 3 means nothing.

Stages are just something idiotic that companies do to market things. Don't pay them any mind.

What's the grind on the cam?

Most companies call a "stage 3" a larger cam so you might need a lot more than just a valve train, like higher compression more ccs etc.

If you list the cam it would be a pleasure to assit you.

Don't build a B when you can grab an LS1 for the price of a GSR.

How's that?

Not everyone can or wants to use a B series. Also some people would be much happier with replaceable motors. You can grab a new D in the yard for 50 bucks all day. Find spare GSR blocks for that kind of price.

i understand it might be slighty cheaper. but gsr's arent the only b series engine. you can find an ls engine for cheap, then slap on a b16 head and bada bing. im not hating the single cams im just giving my opinion cause ive been there and done that. kabeesh?
