turbocharging a b16a CRX
i have a 3000$ budget for a kit and am usure on what i should get for the car. my crx is a daily driver so im not going to be running insane amounts of boost. if somone that has a b16 crx would let me know what their setup is i could get some ideas. also what other mods will i have to make to the car to fit the kit in. thanks for the help.

other then not running high psi and keeping it good for a daily what do you want?
What kind of power band? Are you willing to make your own kit? Other then just a turbo kit is that 3k to cover other mods like a better exhaust etc?

Sounds like you have much research to do. Like Max said, the setup will depend on how you plan to use the car.
Maybe visit the forced induction forum and troll around for a while to get a sense of what parts produce what numbers. I'm sure there are some good B16A builds floating around.

Re: turbocharging a b16a CRX (***$nyper)
i pretty much have the car the way i want it except for the turb kit. i have a good 2.5'' exhaust and coilover suspension. stock tran. i was aiming for between 250 and 350 hp. i do take the car to the track but mostly daily driver. as for the kit, i have seen rev hard's stage 2 kit with a t3/t4 turbo with intercooler and was interested in that.

In my opinion it should depend on how good you are as a tuner or who in your area is a competent tuner, and also what programs they are most familiar with.
That will have the largest impact on what the end result of any turbo build will be.

also as you raise power you should up in susp. clutch, tires, easier done over time, eliminating problem as you go JM2C

i beleive that if u want to run boost more than lke 2 lbs ur gonna have to go through and get bigger injectors, and all that crap, if ur gonna keep it at low boost, i recommend just goin with the side mount, it would be cheaper than front mount.
