DC Armrest hits passenger seat rear lever??
Hey guys, so I picked up a nice DC center console and armrest today for $40! The console part went in smooth and looks great (will color match later), but when I try to install the armrest, it hits the lever on the back of my passenger seat. Has anyone else had this problem? Solutions?
Console in!
The lever.....

Thank you!

shouldn't the lever be on the other side? I don't have my usdm seats anymore, but I thought that all adjustments and levers were on the door jamb side.
It looks like maybe you have a driver's left seat installed on the passenger side.

The lever is supposed to make it easier for people in the back seats to move the front seat forward. Also, im like 98% sure these are the original seats. 89 Hatch STD.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you have a driver's seat on the passenger side, haha. Is the tilt handle on the left side as well? For a passenger seat the levers should be on the door side.

Drivers seat has no lever in the back, just the one on the side.

Something is not right with your seat. Its "supposed" to have both tilt levers on the door side. maybe somebody modified your seats.
I would pull that seat out and have a look at the bottom. maybe it was a seat pan swap (for those seats I dont know why) or just a driver side seat with the lever moved to the other side (its possible, I did it for a gaming rig).
I have this center console and it was tight but it fit fine (with passenger seat levers on the right, drivers on the left)

F22Master-What year is your car? I believe everyone is on to something here as I have the same suspicion about the seat pan swap.

Well, I may not have this problem much longer. Found a nice set of black GSR leathers tonight that a guy wants to trade me for a custom built longboard! Im sssoooooooo excited! And they already have EF rails on them! But for all interested, Ill take that seat out tomorrow and snap a few pics of it and post them here.
