a6 and the sohc zc non vtec are pretty much same freaking motor.

ok....here's my situation, i had a crx si with some head work done to it, it through a rod through the block... i bought another crx si, but it has a zc block with what i think is a d15b2 head. i was wonderin if the zc sohc with a d16a6 head will put out the same displacment

my bad man, j/w did the sohc zc engine come from an older integra or sumthin, ive never heard of a SOHC zc, only a DOHC zc

Yeah. ,the Si harness will on the SOHC zc as well as the DOHC zc. As mentioned before, the SOHC zc head slightly different from the A6 head. The zc cams are hotter, giving you a higher compression, if im not mistaken, aside from that, no difference. Enjoy.

The old integra motor was a d16a1 which is like the dohc zc. there are alot of sohc zc motors. Alot of the sohc motors in japan are zc.
