Re-Wiring my EF hatch... where to start?
i just bought my 91 SI hatch about a week ago off my homeboy for dirt cheap not running just got it for the shell im doing my first build.. but i am no good with electrical stuff so i am asking your help cause i could not find anyting about repalcing every wire in the car anywhere...
i want to put all new wires and harnesses in the car.. i dont car if it really needs it but thats what im doing cause alot of it just looks no good and old like its on it last leg.. so how would i go about doing this?
i would just buy new wire and harnesses threw honda? ( price is no concern here)
Thank you in advance for help or info!!

Try to find a stock harness in a junkyard somewhere, buying the parts new will be like throwing money out the window. If you're not confident with your wiring skills, I say leave it to a pro. Otherwise, download the Helms manual , bust out the wiring diagrams and get cracking!
What's the problem with it anyways? Why go through the hassle of replacing every wire in the car? If it's just a hacked engine harness, just replace that.

It sounds like a great idea to try and start fresh, but replacing everything will be clearly over your head....WAY over your head.
Not worth the hassle IMO.

Re: (90sedan)
Good luck getting a new wire harness from honda i tried a few weeks ago to get a new cabin harness for my 89 crx hf and i was told it was a discontinued part and they could not order for me. i tried all the local dealerships and even the ones online and got the same response at every one. Find a used one in good condition or break out the helms. Good luck and hope it all works out for you.
