Default project slide squad hatch

In the spring sometime i picked up a 92 gsr shell with b18a swap for 700, put it all together and got it running assuming i could sell for a profit. My plans for my car/s has changed and i really dont want another integra(this is my third) and what i really wanted to do was get a ef civic or crx to make into a track/race car. then i remembered this dumb local kid who had this car and i figured id work out a deal.

These pics arnt current, ill get recent ones and more detailed tomarrow.

the car had been sitting in my friends back yard for almost two years while he went off to college, then it was traded to its last owner. never really having run at all in between. car was painted along time ago, im guessing like 2004.

Plans: The high compression Ls/vtec out of my dc integra will be going into this car, the motor needs a rebuild first so im going to get body work while thats being done. The rust is pretty substantial, the whole rocker panel...well there is no rocker panels anymore. and the driver side has a nice hole. I will be ordering new panels from rustrepair.com for about 200$ total for both rockers and qp's. Got a quote today from a local body shop and the guy said he would weld them in for something like 250 dollers, i couldnt believe how cheap that was...they do decent work too, my friend had work done there before. planning to leave the army theme for awhile.

Puttin these seats in out of the teg

i apologize for being so random but ill work on this more tomorrow when the car is sitting in my driveway

random junk for the build:

Nice ride and I like that army theme I thought it looks cool in the first pic. How low is it? And good luck on the build

im getting the quarters replaced with all new sheet metal. my plans are to get the shitty d15 put back in and drivable so i have something while the ls-v undergoes surgery.

the Run down on the motor is this:
Engine:
B18b bottom end bored 81.5
Pr3 pistons (11.7:1)
Ls rods shot peened

B18c gsr obd1 head
AEM adjustable cam gears
skunk2 Intake manifold

JDM Sir-g tranny with factory limited slip

Thats current set up, i have these parts waiting for installation:
Blox competition type b cams
Blox titanium retainers
Blox Valve springs
Ebay Type-R style header 1 piece 2.5 inch outlet

I will be getting a thicker head gasket in order to lower the compression a bit.
Also i have some Eagle rods, i dont know if i should put those in or not simply because the pistons are just stock honda, what do u you guys think

Well I think you should just use the ls rods since they r shot peened. And it should hold unless you plan going boost

i donno i might spray a small amount of nitrous like a 35 shot, simply because i have the kit lying around...

I did a little work today, cleaned the engine bay and started to paint with a rattle can...

I have B series mounts from my old crx, do i need a new tranny mount for the hydro tranny?
