Default No Spark!! Distributer?

I got a 88 CRX with a 1.5 Dual point (HF?, DX?) It is so random with starting up. Sometimes it will be fine for days. Then sometimes it won't start up. Starter is working fine, its turning over. It just won't fire up. So this morning it did it, so i poped the hood and check for spark. NON! I am not getting any spark.
I have changed the ignition switch already.
I took the distributer cap off. Everything seems in decent shape. I am getting 12v to the ignition coil. Is this a common problem? It has the coil built into the distributer and i am not sure how to go about diagnosing this. Thanks in advance for any help put forward.
Does anybody have specs on this distributer to check with a multimeter?

Check your grounds, same thing happens when the ground on the thermostat housing is off.

I don't know as much about the D15, but the D16A6 in my car has a ground to valve cover, thermostat, and tranny. If you are making new ones use some good 2 or 4 gauge wire.

I made new ground wires and i noticed a difference when cranking the car. But i still can't get the car to start. I still do not have any spark. Any way to tell what the coil is putting out? or anybody have the specs to check resistance on the distributer? thanks
