I know for a fact that u would need the z6 ecu, im planning a mini me wich is your z6 head and the b2 block, i would need it for mine so i guess that would probly be best to use the z6 harness although its not entirely necessary depending on what your building it for and the mount is probly already aftermarket meaning u wont have to go to the machine shop and get one fabbed. Hope i at least helped a little.

You use same post mount the goes on the driver side of the b2 and replace it with the post mount in the z6

Yes.

No. You use the harness that came with the car. And convert plugs and extend wires as necessary. In this case, the entire Civic LX harness. However it needs to be converted to support 4 fuel injectors. This is the DPFI to MPFI mod. Then you would need an OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness to reroute all the ECU wires to the proper place on the OBD1 ECU and to provide new wires for the heated O2 sensor, vtec, etc.

and the mount is probly already aftermarket meaning u wont have to go to the machine shop and get one fabbed. Hope i at least helped a little.
No. This swap has been done so many times. Nobody goes to a machine shop and gets one fabbed up. HASPort makes a mount which is probably worth getting if you want perfection on this swap, but you don't -NEED- it.

I'm not going to spoon feed the answers. This swap is nothing new. Check out h FAQ sticky at the top of this page and search google.
Come back if you have detailed questions after that or if you get confused.

Taken from a different thread but I believe it doesn't need to be an "A6" specific mount but rather an 88-91 Civic D-series mount.

You are correct. Any USDM CRX D series mount and bracket will work.

the only reason this "works" is because there is enough play in a factory mount that it can twist and you can make it fit. the timing covers dont fit after you swap the bracket

you can use a EFD2LH with a factory 92-95 2 bolt block bracket and keep the 92-95 timing covers and everything fits properly

I love your mounts Hasport. This is one of those few instances where 2 minutes with a dremel and one or two washers get the job done just fine.

What do you need washers for? I ran this setup long ago (before HASport mount was invented) and no washers were used.
Personally, I would have preferred the HASport mount. Looking at the hole I had to cut into the timing belt cover always looked bad.

Probably to tilt the mount a tad bit as needed. Anyways, the OP has the info needed to make an informed decision.
