Re: NEED FOG LIGHT DIAGRAM
dont run it off the battery! there is a safer and cleaner more OEM option. to have them run the CORRECT WAY, do this.
1. take off steering column cover
2. go to the headlight switch
3. look at the ONLY open slot
4. connect your power wire there
this way when you turn your headlights on, they fog lights will also turn on as they are supposed to. unless of course you have the button turned off
the way kojak has his diagram is a bit confusing seeing as none of the pin outs in his diagram match any of the OEM switches that i have

Re: NEED FOG LIGHT DIAGRAM
Unless you must have the real Honda switch, just get a 3-prong switch from Radio Shack or something and not have to deal with the Prelude switch.
Diagram above isn't that much different than the one you saw in the other thread. Basically the fogs get power from the battery directly or a constant 12V source under the dash to light up. This power source is interrupted by the relay and will only close the circuit if there's a signal that triggers this relay, and this signal comes from your headlight when it's turned to On. The switch is there only to control this triggering signal to the relay.
So, headlights Off, no triggering signal, fogs get no power. Headlights On, but switch is Off, fogs get no power. Headlights On, switch On, circuit is closed, fogs get power.

Re: NEED FOG LIGHT DIAGRAM
from what i remember the prelude fog light switch has 2 built in/connected together. and i don't remember there being a 2 wire set up.
LDO:
i hope your not saying to tap into the low beam, because doing that will dim both lights making it utterly pointless to run fog lights. and the usdm oem fog light switch is also an 3 prong and i see it pointless to use 2 fuses, why when you only need 1?

Re: NEED FOG LIGHT DIAGRAM
You do not need to tap the low beam headlights. There is already a Slot available for the fog lights in the head light switch.

Re: NEED FOG LIGHT DIAGRAM
would I have any problems tapping into the power wire going to the headlight switch but then running it to a relay so i can have my fogs on with just my running lights? i use my fogs as an alternative to daytime running lights since our cars are so tiny
