Default need an answer! distributor question

Ok my question is are all obd0 distributors the same? I have a d16a6 and a b18b i want to know if the distributor from the d series will fit on the B.

also when doing a b series from d series swap. the gsr uses a crank sensor at the crank puley and d series use a sensor in the distributor. to do the swap do you just plug in play the distributor and ignore the sensor on the crank?

Default Re: need an answer! distributor question (90Rexx)

if you cut one of the tabs on the dizzy it will work buy you wont have full range of adjustment I think you can only get 14 degrees or so when spec is 16, It will work I had to use one when my b16 dizzy bearing went out until I got a new one. But you should use the obdo b16 dizzy if you are going gsr or a 90-91 integra dizzy if ls motor> I would just convert to obd1,if you add up the costs, usually a used obdo b16 dizzy and used computer go for at least $100 each so $200 total,obd1 jumper harness $75 and used obd1 dizzy $40-70 and used obd1 ecu $20-70 + you get all the great tuning options. You are not saving anything by staying obd0
