Default Max tire width help

I posted this in the Wheel and Tire forum and received no replies, so I'm trying here.

I'm installing 15" x 7 wide alloys on my 1991 CRX. The wheels are + 44 offset and car is lowered 2.0" front and 1.8" rear. The original tire size is 185/60R-14 at 7.4" wide and 22.6" in dia.

I'm looking at the following sizes but unsure about rubbing. I'm not to concerned with the 3/4" extra dia either.

195/55R-15 8.0" wide 23.3" dia
195/50R-15 7.8" wide 22.7" dia
205/50R-15 8.3" wide 23.1 dia
205/45R-15 8.1" wide 22.2 dia
215/45R-15 8.3" wide 22.6 dia

I'm wondering if anyone is running any of these sizes on a 1988 - 1991 Civic/CRX. What offset rim are you running, how much is the car lowered and is their tire contact inside and out with the body at any time.

Will an 8.3" wide tire fit with all suspension geometry inline

I run a 195-50-15 on a 15x6.5'' tire, with ~ 1.5'' drop, no rubbing at all.

I've got Azenies 205/50/15 on Flik Fuel 15x6.5 and I am lowered and have no problems. I would not go bigger than that or you will get rubbing issues.

i have 205/40/16 with rota grids lowerd on toxico adj. shocks and eibach springs and i rub a little, not much, just every now and then. i would stick to 205/50/15.

thats plenty of tread for any kind of street driven civic

How in the world are you running those w/o any fender rolling? I imagine that you are not that low because 205s will rub in a full U-turn usually (16s tend to rub before 15s). I have seen a lot of Japanese Tuners run 215x50x15 but they roll there fenders and still rub some??? I would love to see pics of your setup.
