Unsure how to do an all motor build on my JDM B16A
I got an EJ6 as my daily, so my JDM B16 EF gets to be a little spoiled. I'd like to make ~250-350HP with less than $2k into the car and little harm to reliability. I don't want my fun car breaking all the time.
I'm primarily just looking for a nice even increase in power all across the board without boost or having to pull the bare block out of the car and get a bunch of machine work done.
Any ideas as to what I could do?

Nothing. You won't ever make that kind of power without forced induction or nitrous.
RIght now I would guess you put down around ~145hp if your healthy, like a stock B16. Just headwork, cams, PnP, maybe 160hp.
A B20 vtec could be the answer you are looking for. 200+ whp NA and reliable.

I anticipate none of those are stock bottom end. With an increase in compression and different fuel, I could see that.
Keep in mind a valvetrain that can do 10-11k rpm isn't setup to last very long. With a larger cam comes the need for more expensive oil. To me none of that sounds like a reliable daily driver.
