Then forget Walbro. Go for an early (~1990) Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo. You may have heard rumors that this pump fits. And it is true. This pump is virtually IDENTICAL externally to the stock CRX fuel pump. So it will fit without ANY hassles or ghetto-rigging (as is required with 1992+ style pumps like Walbro).

I'm not sure. But since it is made for a 200HP turbocharged car, it should be sufficient for all but the most extreme setups. It certainly will be enough for my N/A ITR motor.

That's odd. My Walbro 255 fit fine with the correct adapter kit in my ITR CRX. Its physically smaller and LOUDER than the stock, but on the DYNO my stock fuel pump couldnt even keep up with my U.S. B17 with CTR cams.

Now I run a JDM Type R with Skunk2 stage 2 cams putting down close to 200hp at the wheels ( all motor, stock bottom end ) with RC 310 injectors and this Walbro is keeping up FINE.

Did you get the right adapter kit with your Walbro pump??

My stealth Twin turbo fuel pump fit perfect also, but I didn't change the fuel pick-up bag, so I run outta gas at 1/2 a tank, good thing I have a in-car FP guage. I can see the presure start to drop and I have to get to a store ASAP ~~ But beisides me being retarded and not changing the pick-up, its works great. I also re-wired the pump with 10 guage wire while I was at it.

the stealth/3000Gt turbo pump supports 320hp on a 3.0L V6, so 300hp on a I4 should be kitty **** for it...

I noticed on my dyno sheet how my car at about 5500 rpm that it went from rich to lean. then at 6500 went back to rich side, then after that it went back lean.

I don't have much done to the motor, but should I think about investing in a new feul pump.
Stock dx pump has got close to 200,000 miles on it.

I got the pump from Jackson Racing. And all I got with the pump were the wiring adaptor (no real problem here), a couple of hose clamps, and some sliced pieces of 5/16 inch fuel line to be used as an 'adaptor'. The fitment was genuinely HORRIBLE. There is NO WAY I want something that sloppy in my car. Especially something that can strand you in the middle of nowhere should it fail (and judging by the looks, it probably would sooner or later). One of the worst problems with the setup was the hose from the pump outlet to the feed line on the bracket. There was NO WAY to get the outlet and inlet to come EVEN CLOSE to lining up. As a result, the hose was VERY tightly bent to the point of almost kinking. Then there were the hose clamps. They were just holding the pump on with only those bits of sliced hose between them and the pump. And only one hose calmp could realistically be used (the return line was attached to the bracket where the second clamp should go. With those little bits of hose, I w\can just see the clamps working loose at some point in time.

Needless to say, there is NO WAY I wanted this setup in my car. Especially after a BAD experience I had with a similar ghetto-rigged setup some years ago. In this case, the vehicle was a 1985 Toyota Pickup. Like the CRX, it used a larger style fuel pump. And when the OEM pump went bad, I replaced it with a pump similar to a Walbro (because it was cheaper than the OEM style). That pump ended up separating itself from the bracket and basically falling apart in the tank. And it left me stranded at work. I don't want this to happen again.

Now maybe if you buy your pump through another source, there may be a way to get it to fit right. But the setup Jackson Racing sells just flat out SUCKS!

I ran an eclipse fuel pump in my old hatch.
I dont know what its rated at, but it supplied enough fuel for the b18c-r and a 70 shot.

And I got it for $20.

I also thought about finding a unit that fits the tank BUT putting a bigger pump usually means that you can't insulate the outside of it coz it won't fit the stock tank. MOreover, in tank means sound is actually AMPLified so it'll drive you nuts.
Go in line ...

Any of the Walbro models for imports work just fine assuming you have the correct installation kit. If JR can't give you the correct kit thats their problem not Walbro's.

Check here for them for pretty cheap, http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/walbro/. Never used them tho but they're the lowest I've seen.
