D**** clutch cable for B16 swap HELP HELP
O.K. I just finished my B16 swap yesterday night and finally I goto put my clutch cable on and guess what.... too short. I looked at my old ZC bracket for it and it's completely different. I called a friend up and he said sometimes you have to change it to a 90' integra. The cable on my car is off a 91' Civic HB Dx. But all the swap sites I goto say nothing about the cable possibling too short and having to change it. HERE'S THE THING IS IT BECAUSE IT'S A CABLE FOR A DX AND NOT A SI THAT IT MIGHT BE DIFFERENT ( i PUT THIS IN CAPS SO YOU UNDERSTAN ), I tried bending the bracket and ended up cracking the bracket slightly and had to re-weld it so no luck there. ALso I"m running a 4 puck clutch so the release arm is not giving me any slack. IT's only like a 1/2" too short. I've tried everything and I know I'm trying to put it on right.
So what do I have to do ? Buy a cable for a teg. cause if so I"m screwed since it's a dealer only item and most likely they won't have one in stock I take it.Did anyone else when putting a B16 into a Dx HB have this same problem. What did you do ? I'm trying not to go and have to buy a new cable since money is tight and also this SUCK cause all I need to be able to drive it is a clutch cable.

Re: (7PSiEF9ZC)
My old one was fried so I got one from Acura; part #22910-SK7-A02
It was about sixty bucks..
I have read you can alter your stock cable and it will work.
If this pic works it shows the alteration:
