Default stupid wiring problems....

If anyone can chime in please do so.

90 si with gsr swap.
This guy came with this car using a obd2 harness with obd2-obd2a jumper with a couple of wires ran here and ther. He drove it to me and the ecu was under the hood lol. Dont know how the hell he had it working but he did....so anyways he wants to use a jumper harness (obd 0-obd1) and get it wired right and cleaner.
Removed the old harness he had on.

I got the harness on the motor, wired the dist correct, injectors correct, took off the resistor box etc.

Used a p28 with jumper but car wont fire. Turns over, got spark and gas...

The jumper has the extra 12 wires that still need to be wired. Are there any of those wires that will stop it from turning on? I could be wrong but that last time i did this swap with a jumper i didnt wire any of those 12 extra wires untill after the car turned on.

did you trace the other end of these wires where they're going into?

Those extra wires will not stop the car from starting and running.

I had to go from obd1 back to obd0 to fix an issue and I was able to start the car by just removing the ECU jumper harness but leave everything unplugged, threw some codes, but it was to be expected.

Is the p28 chipped? I don't even know if a stock p28 will start a GSR will it?

Yeah its a chipped p28. Tried 2 different ecu, 2 different dist, and 2 different jumper harnesses.
I think i found out the injectors werent pulsing so ill check them today. As many time as i tried turning the car on it should have flooded the motor but pistons look dry.
When i turn the key i can hear one of the relays clicking fast.

Is the main relay purging the fuel pump?

Is the clicking coming from inside the engine bay? Buddy had the issue where the IACV was clicking in the engine bay, I unplugged it, and the car started right up. Try to find out where the clicking is coming from, probably be the main relay.

Fuel pump is going....and its not clicking anymore.
Heres how the dist is wired. (It was wired by someone else)
Using obd 1 dist with obd 0 dist connector.

All color were color matched minus the thick white wire from obd 0 connector goes to the yellow\green wire to the dist. Is that correct or wrong.
Looked up another diagram and heres how it says it should be done.

Obd0 harness.....................obd 1 dist
Blu\grn............................orn
Blu\yel............................wht
Orn\blu...................orn\blu
Wht\blu...................wht\blu
Orn...........................blu\grn
Thin wht.................blu\yel
Thick wht.................yel\grn
