mine is an 89 Si in black color...guy wanted 1300 for it, but lowered it down to 1K...got it with...no stereo and no cargo cover and that piece that folds up...it had some generic ebay cai, optima red top battery relocated to the rear and ngk wires, maxspeed coilovers, indiglos and x-drilled rotors..."damages" include, rear in driver side quarter panel, no driver side mirror, banged up driver side fender, rusted front end, and no bumper lights...dont know how much money i've put down, but so far i got, the whole front end painted black (to somewhat match the car), some rear interior parts, exhaust, and another mirror...still gotta get a new fender and still trying to get the cargo cover...

Mine is also an 89 CRX Si. the guy was asking $1500.....but i talked him down to $1200. I was desperate cuz i had no car....and there was a B16 in my garage that desperately needed a home inside of a rex. The old A6 motor had approx. 180k on it...and the car looked like ****. It looked(still looks too ) like it was painted w/ flat black house paint and a roller. Theres also two ghetto yellow racing stripes to add to the effect. it looks like a freakin bumblebee.......and now it is known as the Bumblebee by everyone in my town. I now have close to $5000 invested in the car due to 2 b16 swaps and labor.....and other misc. ****. So i pretty much never will be able to sell this car...and i'll just have to fix it up Good thing the interior looks really good...both recaro si seats still look near perfect w/ no rips in them.

I payed $6500.00 for my crx back in 1997. It was a black 1991 si with 65,000miles in MINT condition totally stock. Unfortunatly I totaled it in 1999. I financed it from a dealership. I miss that car, if I didnt wreck it I would most likely still have it. I put on few mods:

akimoto intake (you youngins probally never even heard of those)
dc 4-2-1 ceramic headers
greddy cat back
tokico 5 - way adjustables
eibach springs
15" tsw trophys (back then I got hated on for not buying 17's I was smart )
Mid wing (hey it was 1997)

Bought it in Nov. 2001, guy wanted $2700, got him down to $2100+tax (cause he was a "dealer" or whatever...) so $2350 after all. 169k miles at the time, now at 175.5k.

No stereo, bald tires, little oil (shoulda looked more closely at that one...duh) but wired for subs and amps. Decent paint and interior, rusted sunroof, still needs replacement. Brand new battery though. F'ed up headliner. Missing hard thing under carpet above spare tire.

*EDIT* duh...1989 Red CRX Si. So far I've bought an intake ($180, AEM), drop (springs=$150, Neuspeed sport, shocks=$360, Bilstein), wires and plugs ($80, both NGK) rims and tires ($660) steering wheel and hub ($200, Sparco) Pioneer head unit ($75 + parts for install = $90)...what's that all add up to...****, I don't want to know...

THAT'S $1,720...and damn! There's no new engine in there! F**K!!

No More Civic

I paid $2000 for my DX hatch. One tiny spot of "Honda rust" and a couple of small dents in the door. Other than that it was in great condition.

The only mods I have are as follows:

APC springs I bought from a friend new for $20. And I love them.......amazingly they're very stiff.
Flowmaster Delta Flow muffler $80
Billet aluminium short shifter $50
Hurst polyurethane shift bushings $10
Custom Si/ZC hybrid tranny $100
Integra GSR wheels (5 spoke) $300 with tires
Faulken Azenis tires $400 Since I got a flat on one of the ones I bought with my Wheels.
Side-marker lights $20
Amber corner lenses $6 (the price of the stained glass paint)

I paid $3700 for mine. I talked the guy down $500 because of a dent and some rock chips. The car needed nothing and had brand new tires and a new (!) driver's seat. It was perfect, the seller had even washed it and waxed it. It was a bone stock 91 CRX HF with 95,000 miles.

well it will only let me vote once, but first one was an 86 si. not bad shape, sunroof quit working, would'nt be a prob but it an't closed all the way.
second, just got the other day, 86 dx. it's a little more ruffer, but handed the guy $50 and drove it home. it will be either parts car, but thinking webers, cam, xaust
and hall ***.....but who knows. ps: pleze IM me if you have info on getting that dam roof shut....thanks

1994 - 89 Si with 80k $6500 This car was stolen in 1996
1996 - 89 Si with 80K (insurance replacement) from the dealer after financing $7k
2000 - Sell the 89 Si with 133k for $6600 Car was very clean.
2000 - Buy the last year made 1991 Si with 112k for $5k I dont care that its heavy, its really clean, and now sports a pretty good running B16 (just some small issues left)

I got my old Black 89 CRX Si for $2000 2 years ago. 199k miles, rear wheel wells had been replaced and car repainted (no more rust!), everything worked, and came with honda stereo with optional EQ and factory installed cruise.

Also got a 88 CRX HF with 113k miles for $900. Ice cold a/c, Had rust in the back but I didn't plan on keeping the car. So I filled it in with bondo and painted over it. Sold it to some guy a month later for $1700.

First 90 DX, i paid 1900 for, bone stock, interior was perfect when I got it, it burnt oil. I put a lot of money and motors into this car. 3 motors, coilovers, exhuast, intake, header, vtec controller, stereo, speakers, etc. But then car was stolen and a lot of the stuff was gone So that brings another 1990 DX up, and I got it for 1900. When I bought it, it had Enkie rims, Intake, exhaust. Interior is perfect. Then my other car was recovered, so now I have 2 CRXs, both 90 DXs, both for 1900. Both modded, the second one has a bad tranny and clutch, but i am gonna do a ZC swap when i can get enough money for bearings to put in the motor in my garage with SI tranny.

I paid 800$ for a white HF usual rust. Sold it for 1400$ with ZC motor and all the upgrades listed below besides the tranny and clutch. Bought an 88 si for 400$ from the junker and then got the Hf again for 1200$ SI will serve me as parts only since the floor it's rusted out!

I paid $3500 for my first CRX in 98. It was a Silver 88 DX. Even with 150,000 miles it was still in pristine condition. I put it in a ditch 6 months later when I was 15.

I paid $4000 for my second CRX in 99. It was a freshly repainted 89 Si with 90,000 miles. It came with 15" ICW polished 5 stars..it was the greatest thing ever . I got t-boned by a Taurus a month later.

I paid $4200 for my 91 Civic Si in 99. It was pretty cherry with 60,000 miles at the time. I bought the car stock:3 years and many, many paychecks later it's almost where I want it. B18C1 swap with boost coming in a few weeks. I've got about $4000 into the swap, $2200 in my turbo setup, and around $12000 in total mods.

I paid $2000 for a 91 CRX Si about a year and a half ago. It was spray painted and gutted with a B16A swap, I/H/E, clutch, flywheel and a SLEW of other goodies. Most of the parts from it are on my car (tranny, mounts, boltons, rear disks), the head is on Jeff C's B20VTEC, and the block is going in a friends Del Sol this week.

I paid 1400 for my yellow 88 si with no rust in jan of 2001. Put a zc in it then sold it in nov of 2001 for 3000. Went through some other cars, 87 300zx, 93 integra, and 94 civic si. Then i bought my 88 hf with a b18 swap in it already for 900. It has some rust issues.

1988 Honda CRX DX with 81k miles.
came with dents galore, a primer grey fender (on silver car)
Failed MD state inspection on Balljoints, tie rods, driver side headlight, broken corner lamps. needed new rims and tires (two bent steelies and 4 dryrotted tires)

made it home from Philadelphia to Silver Spring MD in one piece though.

Have had it since may, and it now has 95.3k on it. Gets a new fender tomorrow!!!

Just bought a 89 crx DX for $150 talked him down from $400, its Light blue, little spec of rust on the back fender (fixed), no dents, it had 180k miles on it. i bought hx wheels $120 , got a 98 ls motor ($900), coilovers, redid the interior to SI $200, Si taillights $50. Came out nice then i thought
