how to get the axle nut off when its stripped?
Whats the best way to get the axle nut off? its kind of stripped a little. Should i heat it up. Or just cut the axle off(i dont really need the bearing and other stuff)

Weld something to it like a socket or a piece of pipe. Then turn THAT. If you have good access to it use a cold chisel and crack the nut. It should come off fairly easily after that.

try to smash a smaller socket on the nut and impact it
mack sure the axle lock thing is moved out of the way

^he's right. make sure that you hit out the part of the axle nut that is hammered into the divit on the axle itself. you should get a new nut as it is with your axle if you're changing it out. good luck.

I've used a dremel to cut most of the way through then a chisel to finish it off. It took about 10 minutes and I didn't break a sweat

have you got a decent impact?
what does "kind of stripped" mean? if it isn't too bad a 6point socket should pull it off in an impact. if that spins, i'd first try to find a slightly smaller socket that you could hammer onto it and impact it off that way.
if it is stripped worse than that, then we'll have to get a little more creative.
EDIT: damn you guys type fast.
the cutoff wheel/ dremel would be my next route
