hoping for help. 91 civic hatch std, d16z swap, was running for, now no fuel.
hey yall, I'm weeks deep in research and on the final leg of this swap and am feeling stumped on something that is probably simple to somebody out there. Really hoping for some love here. Ive spent days and rewired my ecu 3 times now on this one issue.
91 hatch std 4speed manual DPFI pm9 ecu--> D16Z6 with p28(automatic) ecu.
Kept the 4 spd manual. Everything is done, I opted to build my own
harness. The car started right up and everything seemed to run fine for a few miles. All of a sudden, I lost the fuel pump, the 15amp ecu fuse had blown. I found the accidental short in the wiring--fixed it, replaced the fuse and went to start the car--- no fuel pump priming. I replaced the Main relay ---- still no fuel pump priming.
After testing the fuel pump connector & ground with a voltmeter, I am detecting no ground currents @ the fuel pump connecter under the back seat(oHowever, I do detect current in the ylw/blk(-) and the ylw/white(+) when ignition is turned to "on" position(when the fuel pump should be priming). I am guessing that I have a ground wire run to the wrong ecu pinout or something. Any help on what I may have done wrong, or maybe how to test the fuel pump to rule that out would be appreciated.
Thanks much.
Mike

I dont understand your question.
if you have power to the pump and it doesnt prime then your next step would be to replace the pump, right?
if you dont have power then it is the main relay.
