Default high idle problems with b16 WHBAT could it be

okay so when i start my car the engine idles around 3000 rpms or so, i understan dits normal to hav ea coldstart,, but this is a little bit too high i think :S

now about a week ago i had a problem where it would stall out randomly at lights/stop signs when i put in the clutch, so my buddy said it could be a dirty throttle bodyk, so i used brake cleaner and cleaned out the tb, and it worked great up until yesterday, at operating temp the car idle around the 1500-1700 range , whic his way too high, so i used the idle screw on the tb, i turned it down, it idled fine at 900 rpm for a bit, now when i drive it with the screw turned down it stalls every single time i put the clutch it, stalls right out

so i had to put the idle screw back upk, and its idling at 1500-1700 normally agian :S

what is wrong...., searched, didn't find anything on this issue

FITV, TPS, or PCV valve. Either or those will cause your idle to be high. I would replace the PVC valve first, then check the voltage on your TPS. Those are easy and cheap to do. The FITV can be fixed. There's a thread on the subject floating here.
