Help on Honda civic ef cluster

Default Help on Honda civic ef cluster

this is the one i got with tach
this is the one on my car now the plug in a, missing is were the 6 is blue one
i have a1990 dx honda civic with a cluster that has no tach
I went and purchase on that that had it from a 1990 honda civic ef si but there is a third plug in [blue} that wont mach with the new cluster??

im a little confused? first picture is yours and you have the second picture for parts???


that blue plug looks like it goes to and shift indicator? but im judging by the clusters ive seen from EG's

So the top picture is the cluster you're trying to put in?
And the lower picture is the original. You have a blue plug on your cars factory harness and the new cluster is missing the place to plug in this blue plug?

I was debating on trying to explain it but that year isn't my expertise. Didn't want to stick my foot in my mouth. Plus isn't there three contacts on the tach?
