that will depend on more than just the compression of the block. it also matters if it's built or stock, whatkind of set-up you plan on runnin and much more

ok stock everything but with an mpfi swap (a6IM).

i would becareful to tell you the truth im not an expert but i can tell you what i know, because im doin the turbo thing right now but i've been researchin for awhile. what are your plans on your turbo? i've heard that a stock motor in good shape should safely handle 6-8 psi. i have a dohc zc im goin to use a t-25 turbo (it's set at 8psi) and a homemade set-up. let me know if you need to know anything else? and good luck

ive ran a t25 with 8 psi for about a week or two now.. ran compression test and got 1) 180 2) 180 3) 170 4) 175 .. pulls good but does use some oil.. i think its valve seals

Just becasue #'s are even doesnt mean a thing. You can get 40 across the board is that good dont think so. 150 isn't bad or good. 150 is a sign of bad rings. 160-180 is average for a higher mileage d series motor
