grinding noise

grinding noise
when i put my car into first and take of i hear a grinding noise almost like tires rubbing but when i hit second its fine and then while i drive and downshift i hear grinding and when i push clutch in no grind its weird

but i just made it from kentucky to ct with no problem and doesnt grind gears or anything like i said only with like hard jerk like first grear take off or when i downshift

nah its not when i shift its whenthe car jerks back or front hard like first gear takeoff or when i downshift almost like my tires rubbing against something

Would this be consider a GRIND??? 1 shift 2nd, 3rd...??? 3rd goes in but makes a little weird noise.
