EGR Valve Bypass
Ok I'm running a CX engine in my 89 CRX with a PM8 ECU. I had a 89 TEG ECU PG7 and it was too rich. I have a code 12 which is for the EGR valve. Problem is I dont have any EGR valve in/on the engine/chassis. Is there anyway to trick the ECU into thinking the EGR is working or can I add an EGR some how to the chassis/engine.
TIA

Re: EGR Valve Bypass (zCivic)
I wrap everything in duct tape.......Including the blinky light on the ECU, that gets rid of the code....If you will take a screwdriver and poke out the check engine light you won't have to worry about that either...hope this helps.....JK Holla

How does the ECU know that the EGR is working on Hondas?
Figure that out and there's your answer.
