EDM Flush Mount CRX Spoiler
Does anyone know how to mount this to the hatch.
I am in the process of purchasing one and was told this:
"To mount the spoiler you have to drill 4 holes. It has 4 more pins for mounting but these are not included, and that would mean that you have to drill 8 holes in the hatch."
Can anyone elaborate...Thanks

Re: EDM Flush Mount CRX Spoiler (CRX Toad)
All you need are the four holes to drill the wing in.
Some of my plastic peices (the other four holes) were jacked up so I removed those and the good ones that I had.

Re: EDM Flush Mount CRX Spoiler (fortyfive)
there are 4 mounting points on the bottom of the wing/spoiler. take a marker and mark the points then set the spoiler on the trunk this will leave a mark for each hole you need to drill.this is how i did it and it worked fine.

theives wouldn't know it's not bolted on anyway...
if you like it and want the EDM look, just drill the holes and mount the thing. use a little silicone or urethane at the studs so it doesn't leak. at least it's an OEM part!!

Re: EDM Flush Mount CRX Spoiler (zrickety)
line up the spoiler and mark them. Once your satisfied drill through the marking points. Mount the spoiler and use a nut to tighten down the spoiler from the underside of your hatch (this will require you to remove the hatch interior.)
Your will need 4 nuts to hold it down. In case one or more is broken then I would recommend taking the other users method of mounting it on.

Re: EDM Flush Mount CRX Spoiler (Spoon Sports)
I bought a 90 CRX with the EDM spoiler, is there some sort of gasket that goes in between the spoiler and hatch? If so where can I find one or does the stock USDM CRX gasket work?

If you cant find a gasket, Home Depot stores usually have a 24"wide roll of 1/16" pvc sheeting that might do the trick. They sell it by the linear foot.
