Door Cap body kit
I have a question about the type of sticker glue they use to attach the door cap onto the door.
I have a mugen body style kit that came with door caps like the ones on this picture of the crx. Look at the door on the bottom of it ("NOT" THE ROCKER PANEL SIDE SKIRTS, sorry just making sure we're clear), basically what makes it has the hump is the door cap which I would consider a door kit but I guess some people call them caps.
My fender was a little inward somehow, and everytime I open the door, the fender bent/peeled back the door cap on my driver side, thats how I found out it was some kind of sticker glue, it was a big rectangle line of some sort of sticker not even about 2 inches in width attached to the door which the outerpart is sticky as well which attached the door cap.
Any ideas on what I should use? I used adhesive glue but it sure made it look ugly, good thing is that adhesive glue is peelable and not to mention didn't last very long =/

Re: (RanCRX)
If you just want something strong, we used a 2-part epoxy you can get at the hardware store. Secure it with rubber clamps till the gule sets.

3m window weld in a caulk tube works great, very perminant though, if you ever want to remove them they might not come off in one piece. 3m automotive double sided tape works good if its a very high quality kit, but not enough to hold most kits. if its 1/2" thick thats retarded, I can't imagine that looking ok

Well its not like i measured it haha. Was just estimating.
Gonna definately try the 3m auto double sided tape. Just to be sure does M stand for Milimeter?
And where can i pick up some 3m double side tape at anyhow?
Works pretty good on this car, just the fact it was forced to peel off by my fender which I pryed out some.
