Re: D16Y7 in EF (Qikcivic)
just use the stock wiring harrness, and it should be all plug and play
edit: sorry the d16y7 is OBD2? if it is then u might have to use ur stock dizzy, and injectors with the stock ECU.. pretty much just swap out ur intake manifold and dizzy, the engine blocks are the same for all d series

Just finished this same swap a few weeks ago. It will all bolt together fine. You just need to trim the driver side engine mount bracket where it bolts to the block (so you do not destroy your timing belt. Everything else from your existing engine will bolt up fine (including the Dizzy). Use the engine harness that came with your EF. If you decide to do an MPFI conversion, that is where it get difficult. I converted to 90 Si MPFI and tranny when I did the swap. The car really scoots. Faster than a stock 90 Si. Good luck. IM if you have questions.

I used the Y7 manifold gasket, but I really don't see why the A6 gasket wouldn't work.
As for the oil pan, I don't know. I used the Y7 pan. I think the A6 pan may not work. I think the Y7 has a bearing cap girdle (i could be wrong).
Good luck.

Not every D series engine is the same. The D16A1 is very different from the other D's. It is the only non ZC D series that has DOHC; so naturally, an A1 cam won't work in a SOHC engine. Plus the motor mounts are different. Sigh*
