CRX with swap obd0 code 6 coolant temp help!!
Have a obd0 jdm b16 and I have a CEL 6 (Coolant Temperature sensor) , how can I fix this? Post pics if possible
BTW- I have a new thermostat and fan switch, my fan comes on and my car does not over heat.

Re: CRX with swap obd0 code 6 coolant temp help!!
maybe its just the coolant temp sensor? There are usually three, one for the fan, ecu, and gauge. If its throwing a code itd be the ecu one, not the fan switch or one for the gauge , not to sound rude, or to assume you did not already know this. I had the same problem when I got my crx, but I had to replace two of them, because the fans stayed on all the time and it was throwing a code. The temp sensor for the ecu on most engines I've seen is located on the head right under the distributor.

Theyre usually the same for most Honda engines I've seen. Its just a little brass piece that screws into the side of the head under the distributor with two wires. It can be taken out with i think either a 12 or 14mm.

So I assume its the black colored switch in the first pic?
The second pic with the green sensor is for the vtec solnoid right?
Also, is the nipple sensor right there for the coolant sensor in the guage cluster?
Thanks in advance

the 2 wire black plug on the side of the head is the ect sensor for the ecu. single wire barrel type plug is for the temp reading in the gauge cluster. and lastly the green 2 wire connector is for the vtec pressure switch. the grey 1 wire connector is for the vtec solenoid.
