You have an A/M k20 EF8 and you don't know where your grounds are ?
Lol, just bustin' your chops bro. Is your battery in stock location ? or was it relocated ?

Make sure the battery is grounded. And make sure the tranny is grounded.
Also, make sure there isn't a fuse between the positive battery terminal and the starter / fuse box. I accidentally did this when I relocated mine. And wondered why I kept blowing the 50a fuse. It's all all the time and doesn't use a fuse there.
Also make sure the ground locations are clean, and your battery terminals are clean.

I've had those symtoms and for me it was the ignition switch because the II postion wouldn't make contact. It would start and die if the key is not held past II.

I'm gonna try switching the ignition switch then...I think I may have a problem with my dizzy because it makes a ticking noise when the key is turned to the II position and it shorts out because my rpm needle moves up and down and the lights flicker .
