How much does a clutch, 2 quarts of tranny oil, 1/2 inch breaker bar, and a good set of sockets and tools, and a chilton's manual cost?

Less than taking it to a shop, and now you have the knowledge and means to do it yourself. It's really not all that bad to be honest with you. I did it in about 9 hours by myself on my garage floor for my 1st time.

That was a week after I had jaw surgery... You can certainly crank it out. The only thing you have to really make sure of is that you align the clutch properly. A clutch alignment tool is perfect for this, but a 3/8" socket extension is what I used.

Go to advanced auto parts (not sure if autozone has them...). They have them. Basically, it has a step-by-step list of everything you need to do with pictures to show you every step of the way.

It is by far the best investment you will ever buy for your car.

Gives you all the fluid capacities, clearance specs, torque specs, etc. Basically tells you how to take apart every peice of your car and then properly put it back together.

If it's not your daily driver, then you can just go nice and easy, space it out, and not worry about meeting a deadline. Make sure you label EVERYTHING and bag it. If you don't know what it's called, just label it as "that square headed bolt that goes into the arm of that shiny thing under the blue piece." You get that I mean.

The first thing I ever did to a car other than oil changes was an entire engine swap. The only way I ot through it was by taking a week to do it and by labeling EVERYTHING. My engine bay was covered in pieces of masking tape written on in sharpie.

Hahahaha, that brings back memories of my DOHC ZC swap. This is great advice BTW.

Hey... just a quick question. The Chiltron manual, should it be only the specific year model CRX or can it be like a 84-95 crx and del sol?
