Did you put the throw out bearing in right?

I just did the clutch like 3 weeks ago in my hatch I pulled the motor out to do it...I thinks its easier. Anyway I put it all back together in the car and evrything and it did the same thing yours is doing.

You have to get that spring in just right or it wont engage the clutch so you can put it in gear.

Check and double check your clutch cable tension. Something is causing the clutch to not fully disengage, which will not let the transmission stop turning so that you can put it into gear.

Sometimes the clutch cable will break a strand or two but not break in half, lengthening the cable by an inch or more. If this is the case, it won't feel like a broken cable, but adjusted all the way out it won't disengage the clutch.

after i put everything back together the shift fork on the transmission was stiff. and i was wondering what could cause that? and there was no pedal play on the clutch pedal. what could be a issue?
