Re: Checking Main Relay, with pics!!!
Ok so aside from all the "not getting certain signals from ecu etc." one of my wires actually came disconnected from the socket that connects to the "little box" aka the main fuel relay. I believe its the #7 the fuel pump. How do i manage to fix it/get the wire back in the socket??? Someone please help

how did it come out? did you just pull on the wire too hard it stripped out of the crimp terminal and all you see is a bare wire?
if you need to depin the terminal, use an eyeglass screwdriver and stick it in the front and slide out the pin.

you can try to be a bit more descriptive. you know like a picture.

take the pin out.
to fix it right, you really should get a new crimp and crimper. which is not realistic.
to fix it so you dont have to worry about it, pry the old one apart and do your best to crimp it again.
another method is to go to the junkyard, cut off a 3" section of wire with the same pin, then solder the new end to the old end.
but this is not a huge problem. if you are having a hard time understanding what im saying, find someone who knows some basic electrical knowledge and ask them to fix it for you. its pretty obvious what to do and there are a number of ways to make things better.

Re: Checking Main Relay, with pics!!!
one thing that confuses so many people, is that the ECU will only send power to the main relay for a couple of seconds to prime it, then while the car is being cranked, it detects that the engine is turning through the dizzy, and turns off the pump when it doesn't detect those pulses. This is a safety feature. Even carbed early Hondas without an ECU have a safety relay that does this same thing
PGM-FI Mai Relay fix PGM-FI Main Relay problems and fixes. 94
The firs test that should be done is to unplug the relay and test for the 3 powers
1- 12V constant, hot at all times
2- 12V switched power, hot in run and start.
3- 12V switched power hot when cranking to start only.
If you have all 3 powers check the black lead for continuity to ground.
You do not need to know the wire colors or pin positions to do this test. 94

Thanks you, found your post very informative but unfortunately it is not my problem. Don't know if you have had the opportunity to read my post but it is definitely a mind bender of a problem
