Default idle high, oil change, then idle better wtf?!!

ok i have a 88 crx si and iv'e always had this annoying idle problem that comes and goes. ive checked vacuum lines, replaced eacv, blead coolant, checked throttle cable and the idle would still jump up to 1800-2000 rpm on and off when warm.

a couple of months ago after changing the oil and putting in proline. i drove around for about 25 minutes afterwards and my idle finally went down to like 900 rpm. but what was really amazing was that it stayed there for like 2 months. after about 2200 miles on that oil change my idle started to rise. 1500....1600...1700...then once agian between 1800 and 2000rpm.

today i went and changed my oil after about 20 minutes or so of driving it finally idled correctly for a decent amount of time . i didn't put proline in or any additive and i didn't drive it real hard but by the end of the day about 9 hours after the oil change it started to idle at like 1500 rpm and then back down to normal, then back to 1500 then after a few minutes bak to normal etc. WTF?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
