has anyone tried this setup before? I need to know if it does gives smooth engagement as described on the website below, what about the pedal pressure? is it light? I ask all this because my car is my daily driver so I need to know your experiences guys.

my friend had it in a talon tsi. for daily driver you might want something a little less aggressive. plus unless your turbo'd and running high horsepower you really don't need that much of a clutch...IMO

With the centerforce dual friction clutch, the pressure plate will slip when you get up to 180whp. The disc itself is great. Im using the dual friction disc on a clutchmaster stage 3 pressure plate (my CM disc got damaged), and it grabs awesome with 212whp.

engagement with both pressure plates are similar. I suggest going with CM.

There is a guy on homemadeturbo.com that is selling clutches for $240 shipped that MANY MANY of the turbocharged cars are doing great on !!! REAL FEEDBACK too !!

Not one person from HMT.com that I know of has out powered that clutch...

You can also get a sprung version for $260shipped

They come with alinment tools and throw-bearings !!! IMO centerforce kinda tricks you into paying extra by selling the throw-out bearing seperatly for almost $50 !!! ( kinda like summitracing giving away "free shipping" with a $9 handling fee, hehe )

Also, unless your doing some type of forced induction, I would just buy the $115ish excedy clutch off ebay...

I'm running that one on my crx. Pedal feel is close to stock but engages pretty agressive. I would consider it a MILD clutch setup which is totally fine for a daily driver.
