Before you get the new ECU try a couple things if you have not already.
Make sure all 3 fuses for PGM-FI Main Relay are good...
Make sure not only that the fuses are good but also that those powers are at the PGM-FI Main Relay, if they are, turn ign. on to run, [not start] and test for power [fuel injector relay output]
If all the above is good use a jumper lead to supply a ground to the terminal at the PGM-FI Main Relay, [fuel pump relay control from ECU/ECM.
If fuel pump runs then the problem is no ECU/ECM ground out for fuel pump relay control.
But before you swap out the ECU/ECM check and make sure there is power on IGP1 and IGP2 at ECU/ECM when ign. switch is on, they are the only two leads on the ECU/ECM, both IGP1&2 need power before ECU/ECM will supply the ground control for the fuel pump relay. 94

Mine turned out to be the main relay thank the lord.

switch to on position all lights are on the dash that are supposed to be. but no fuelpump activation. And it cant be just the fuelpump because it does not pulse the injectors either!!
It is not the main relay!!! checked and replaced!!
i dont think igntion switch. but i have never had it die close enough to the house to test anything.
I spent all day in the back yard with the car running and messing with everything, could not get it to die on me.
Im at a lose here. And im a master tech. but anytime i was able to test anything it all test good cause the car is running.
if it broke down by the time i make it tools and make it back to the car it runs again.

FWIW could be bad ecu (capacitors failing)
I know waiting for the fuel pump to prime is one of the symptoms..........cel goes on and off, but only after a while......

replaced ecu and no more problems,
thought i said that already but if not.........ecu bad!
it was a cheapo "chipped" ecu from ebay so, figures.
I bought a used one and now it runs better than it ever did with that POS chipped ecu
