Default camshaft seal?

Hello guys i'm getting this very annoying oil leak. I dont know where it is comming from. I've changed my oil pan gasket, that didnt fix it. Its not the rear main seal because the clutch is working fine and dosent slip due to oil. What i was wondering is if the camchaft seal is leaking would that cause the noticeable size oil leak? Also what side of the motor is the seal located on, how hard and what is needed to change the seal? thanks in advance

is the rear main seal leaks it doesnt nesesary wil get on the clutch
u can tell by wetness comming from between the tranny and engine by oil pan and dust pan

for the cam seal , it is on the side of engine by the cam gear u have to remove cam gear to get it it
unless u got a front crank seal leaking also

isnt there also another seal from the plug at the other end of the cam gear, and in a very rare instance the little o ring on the distributor could be bad, also there is an o ring on the oil pump and also on the vtec solenoid(if you have vtec, just thought that I coudltn remember which engine you stated)

what he said ^^^^^

there are 2 seals on the camshaft, one is on the side of the cam gear, and you will have to take the cam gear off to replace it, (this seal goes bad in most D series engines)
and the other seal is on your distributer.

clean your engine so you can find out where the leak is coming from..

i imagine that a USDM seal would work on a JDM engine, but i am not 100% sure. but i guess as long as its a D series seal is should fit.

There is a crank seal on both sides of the crank. One under the pulley, and another under the flywheel. Yes, there is a distributor seal o ring. Pull the dizzy out, and it is at the tip. You dont have vtec, right? cause there is a leak prone seal under there too. Ryan

Ps, seeping headgaskets are kinda common too. Its not a big deal, just messy. Keep a eye on these leaks though.
