Default Best Struts For The Money?? Suggestion Please.

I want to upgrade my struts, but I'm afraid to drop $400 on a set of struts that will damage my kidneys when hitting every little bump. (PA roads blow) I have Neuspeed lowering springs (1.5" drop), and stock replacement struts (ew!). The stock replacement's are weak. I don't want "riding on a rail" stiff, but I want performance (of course at the lowest price)
I found KYB GR-2 gas struts for about $45 a piece. Or Tokico "Premium Performance" struts for $65 a piece. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

you are better off spending a little extra and getting the kyb agx's, you wont be dissapointed. They are adjustable, so you should have a nice smooth ride.

Go with the KYB AGXs... they aren't the best shock (far from it)...but, they are cheap with a moderate amount of performance. Just never plan on autocrossing/road racing with them as they are crap for that kind of application. They usually run around $80-$90/ea

If you do decide to go with AGXs, i have set of 2 rears for sale. Used, but in perfect condition. I'm asking $50 each plus shipping. I'm actually in PA, so you could pick them up.

I'm so nice.

And for some reason I always thought "Koni Yellows" and "Koni Adjustables" were the same thing. Am I wrong?

Koni Yellows are adjustable, so you are right...

in my post, i meant to put Reds... there's two basic types of koni adjustable shocks (for under $200/ea). the single and the dual..the single has to be removed from the car to be adjusted (also calleD Koni Reds i believe)...the dual are the yellows which are externally adjustable and have ride height adjustment.

i editted the post. shows the correct names now.
