Battery keeps dying!!!!
i have a 1990 honda crx 176k miles. The battery keeps dying after i drive it so many miles. It acts like a wiring problem or loose ground. I can have high rpms and the battery charges and after a long time driving it the battery stays charged. Its a new battery and advance auto says my starter is good and my battery is good and that my alternator is putting out 13.25 volts. So is it the alternator that needs replaced??

Re: Battery keeps dying!!!!
hmm sounds like the problem i had....but i traced it back to the driver side door open light switch(the thing that causes the light on the dash to come on when the doors open)it was always pullin current from the battery so i just popped the door panel off and disconnected it.
wasy way to check it is pop out the main fuse under your hood and then stick it back in and if you hear a loud click come from the door then thats the culprit
