Default Bad dizzy?

Can a bad dizzy lead to a flucuating idle?

it did with me... it was only the rotor though, it was really loose

Make sure that the little screw is tight.... If it is then make sure there is not shaft play by grabbing it and wiggling it, if it moves a good bit it needs replaced.

Also replace cap, wires and rotor. And not with aftermarket crap get HONDA OEM!

also the it sounds like there is an occasional sqeek coming from the distributor... I popped off the black housing to see if there was any red residue showing a bad bearing but there wasnt. Do u think it is the bearing or should i replace my cap and rotor? What cap and rotor parts can i use for an obd0 b16 dizzy from honda?

90-91 integra cap and rotor

If it squeaks at all, the bearings are going bad in the dizzy. If your handy and have a local bearing place, you can just remove and replace the bearings. Otherwise just buy a new distributorking dizzy and be done with it.
