Default B18b1 89 Si CEL 43 huge loss in performance

Hey Honda-Tech, so ive been trying to figure this problem out for a while now an its becoming quite expensive. So i decided to just make my own post an get some feedback from people to try to save some money. I dont wanna waste money on a part that doesnt fix anything if you guys have some ideas on what could be the issue.

Anyways. This is my first honda, so i messed up buying an obd0 swap but I have a 1989 Civic Si, with a B18b1 swap, obd0 as i just stated. Running a pr4 ecu.

The problem im having is code 43, i drove the car for 3 months after making the code go away the first time i had it. An it decided to randomly reappear on me. Ive replaced my fuel filter, main relay, got a brand new O2 sensor, changed my fuel rail an put a new FPR on as well, got a new TPS for the hell of it an calibrated it, also adjusted my thottle cable to take out the slack before calibrating TPS, my throttle body does have the set screw for the throttle as well so no problems there. I put brand new spark plugs in, new spark plug wires, checked timing, i tried swapping out ecu's to see if that was the issue an still threw code 43 on both ecu's. Even replaced my intake manifold and gasket while checking for vacuum leaks.

Symptoms:
- Noticeable loss in performance
- The car starts up fine when cold an near operating temp, runs really well, but as soon as the car heats up completely, sometimes even before completely warmed up, it throws the code 43. after throwing the code, the car bogs really hard all the way up to about 3-3.5k rpm's, going up hills it bogs out really hard unless i hit the hill with some speed. it also burns through gas like no other an gets terrible gas mileage.
- After the car heats up an i drive for a while, once turned off it doesnt like to start. one thing i have noticed that sometimes helps though is popping the gas cap an trying to start it with it resting in place not tightened down. Sometimes it starts right up once i pop the gas cap. Other times it doesnt.
- For the first time, the other day i was driving home from the gas station, after my car wouldnt start, an it started to sputter out an die on me. So i gave it some gas an it went away, then about 10 seconds later it happened again, so this time i took it out of gear to coast (i was driving down a hill) and as soon as i did that it died on me. I then had to pull over an wait another 20 minutes for my car to start. It will crank an everything, but it just does not like to actually start.
- And the final symptom started happening the other day after i picked my car up from getting an alignment. Most of the time while im driving now, my RPM gauge is either at 0 or jumping allll over the place like its completely broken, my speed gauge works perfectly fine though, no weird jumping in the speed at all.

PLEASEEEE HELP ME OUT HONDA-TECH PEOPLE!!!!
ANY an all input that could lead me in the right direction to fixing this is greatly appreciated! Thank you anyone who takes the time to actually read my post an trys to help me!

I know you said you checked your timing, but it sounds like your ignition timing is off, you set it to 14-16 advance using a timing light right?

Anyone got any ideas? My next step is to replace my fuel pump. But I'd rather not if that isn't the issue.

You have a b18b1 swap or b18a1? b18b1 is supposed to be obd1 or obd2. Not sure if it can be ran correctly with obd0

I have an 89 Si with a 96 B18b1 (OBD2) and I run it with an OBD1 ecu. That very well could be the problem.

I believe you can run obd1 with a b1 motor, you just have to have the obd1 o2 sensor (not sure if obd1 and 2 are the same), obd1 dizzy and of course obd1 ecu. I had a b1 in my 90 Crx and I ran it as obd1.
