Default B18a1 OBD0 EF Sedan Won't Start!!

So i have an 89 EF sedan with a b18a1 in it. the ecu is a Pr4 and it has an LS trans. The ignition is fucked so its wired to a push button. Anyways, i bought the car as a shell and it came with the motor so i bought a trans. I trust the guy so please dont tell me the motor is blown because it is not. it has compression just fine.

First of after everything was hooked up when i would push the button, the motor would turn over for about .1 seconds and then i found out that the starter wasn't getting enough amps. So i made a ground from the trans to the chassis and one from the vc to the core support which i should've had all along. So from there she was turning over and i got excited but it won't start. She is getting fuel to the fuel rail, just no spark. i had a buddy of mine come by and he rebuilt the distributor for me and still no spark. i've had this problem for 2 months and the car has been sitting. Any suggestions ?

Did you run the extra wires to the dizzy or did the previous owner? You need to swap c1 and c2 to pins b10 and b12 on the ecu side and then with the now empty slots @ c1 and c2 run 2 new wires to the distributor for the ckps. Your buddy rebuilt the dizzy... Please Tell me he didnt just toss a cap and rotor at it and call it a day?

Well i bought this car as a shell and it came with the motor because he said the trans was bad and he was in the process of getting a one . he wanted the JNC wheels i had so i trade them for the car and motor with a lil cash on top. This same exact motor was running in this car before already and i actually found the guy the owed it before him and he has pics of the same motor and everything, and he said he was the one that wired the push button ect. & i honestly don't know what he did with the distributor, i was thinking about getting a new ignition coil for it. but tomorrow i will check on the ecu about the pins and see if that's already done.
