Default 1991 honda civic hatchback B16A Engine, suspension problem popping noise

Hi, all this is the problem I have a popping noise when I turn the wheels left to right & right to left. This is what I have done so far:
1. Replace the rank and pinion system
2.new outer tie rods end ( left & right)
3.CV axle both sides (88-91 acura Integra)
The transimission is manual. To start the problem solving I have taken out both CV and rolled the car back out & turning the wheels far left & far right and no popping noise. So I put the driver side CV back in & did the same step & no noise. But putting the right CV axle in I got the popping noise and from reading this is the proper axles. The question is it the ball join or something else ?

The car is 1991 honda civic hatchback.

The popping mostly happens when the car was moving in turning it left to right, only a couple of times it did pop when it wasn't moving. Plus to add when the popping happens you can see the wheel jerks, like there was some kind of stress or bind on some part. I don't think its in the trans. because the car is in neutral.

Do you notice it pops as well just as you come to a complete stop and the weight transfers off the front wheels?

This sounds the same as the problem im having. In for answers.

I don't have the car on but just pushing it out of the garage and turning the wheels it pops but having the wheels straight no pop. If that helps. Totally confused on this one.

What did you replace when doing the swap? I say the easiest way is to have someone turn while you inspect. Is it just 1 pop or just constant pops? The wheel jerk thing kinda gets me. Maybe the car is dropped too low and it's getting caught?

sp33, do you also have a b series swap?

Sounds like you found your problem right there, sounds like a bad CV joint. My B18C5 takes DC2 axles by the way

The engine was already in the car when I bought it. The CV needed to be replaced according to the seller (seems more to that than what he said) anyways. As far as the popping goes it pops not a full rotation of the wheel say half the rotation of the wheel and only pops when the wheel is turned. There is nothing in the way of it getting caught. As far as the "B" series swap, what do you mean, because the CV parts are (88-91 acura Integra) both sides.
Could this be the wrong CV joints ? And what are the proper ones ?

Do the axles has to be a JDM AXLES FOR B16A 88-91 ? Is the "JDM" is just a name brand or does this type of engine requires these type of axles.

The CV joints are new (or rebuilt) from O'Reilly auto parts.
