AGX vs. Illumina
Whats up guys, I did a search on this and only found 1 result from back in 2003. I own a 90 civic 4dr and I plan on running Skunk2 coilovers. So which set of shocks would work better for my setup, the kyb agx's or the tokico illuminas? any help will be greatly appreciated, thank-you

I had the agx's and illuminas on my si. I had the agx's first, they were too soft for me, I sold them for the illuminas, the illuminas fit the bill for me, but they were not a stock ride over bumps, but it was definitely firmer.

Re: AGX vs. Illumina
Im going on 8 years with a set of illuminas here. Keeping them off the bumpstops is key to making them last long. I really like them for the price as long as you don't want 500lb+ springs.

Personally with no disrespect to Tokicko owners. I think all tokicko struts are garbage, I think I busted a whole bunch of those struts over the years. I use Koni Yellows. Out of all the adjustable struts that i've ever used, they are the best. AGX's are good too.
