Ok this swap was done by the previous owner, he said he parked the car and it would not start after. Now i purchased the car and have a few questions.

I got the car to start, but it will only start at full advanced timing, once the car warms up completely i can adjust the timing back to 16 btdc and the car will idle ok , but wont start again after letting it sit unless i go back to full advance timing. I have lined up the cams with the tdc mark , i have also timed it with a timing light after its running.

The next problem is once its running it idles great but when you try to drive it all it does is sputter when you hit the gas , if i slowly give the car gas it will rev fine but cant accelerate , the car also wants to die at stops so constantly have to feather the throttle.

All the wiring is correct with dpfi to mpfi I believe I have changed plugs, wires, clean fuel injector nozzles but not sure if stuck

Any advice or suggestions?

ecu is a p72 with a obd1 jumper from dx wiring , only has headers and cold air intake
