Build Thread 2.0
Ive posted here a few times about this car over the last mmm.. 5 years... Its been along time in the making, i didnt have time to work on it for like 1 1/2 years due to work. Now i have more time and i started parting out my DD to finish this. Its about 1k from being done. Heres a run down of what has been done to this badboy. Oh if anyones wondering i paid $200 for the shell
car:
- Fiberglass doors, side skirt, and 1pc front end
- 10pt roll cage
- 5pt race harness, single seat, gutted, alu dash
- All windows lexan
- skunk2 coilovers
- new lower, upper, and rear control arms
- shaved rear end & fuel door(no spots for lights or any of that)
- fresh paint job, inside and out.
- Aeromotive fuel pump
- msd ignition system
- moroso oil catch can
- twin disk dual diaphragm clutch with flywheel
for the motor (by hui tran @ inline racing)
- crowler rods
- forged pistons (13:1 if I remember right)
- titanium springs and retainers
- comp cams
- buddyclub gears
- new valves with 5 angle job
- ported polished
- twin injectors (meth)
Trans gsr close gear
- Shot/Cryo treated
- new syncros with 1/2 the teeth removed
- custom cut gears to displace oil faster when shifting
- Spool
- braced
At the end of the month the car is going over to bmc racing for a custom modular intake (with several rather large throttle bodys sticking outa the hood, just wait for pics) exhaust, crossmember, fuel cell, support bracing, and a few other little things.
After we get the intake/exhaust done, the only major thing left is to wire this thing up, and get a fresh set of slicks.
