91 hatch dx
I just bought this beauty bucket for 700. Gotta just fix the shift linkage. I hope! But anyways. Im wanting it to be my project over the next few years. Its all stock except for intake. Its straight piped all the way.(so help me god) luckily im in welding class in school.(majoring in welding) but i already planned on getting just headers all the way back off of ebay.. Any other suggestions to put into or onto the car? Haha. All help will be taken into considerationn. Haha

if you can weld, just buy your own pipe, and weld your self a exhuast. from header back. only thing you would need to buy would be a collector, and a muffler.

as long as your rear lower control arm bolts aren't seized, then you'll have to cut, and replace. other then that, not too bad to do coilovers. and before anyone else says it gc/koni combo.
head swaps, can't say from experience, but there are good diy info in the faq.

Get a resonator, cat/high flow cat, and a muffler. You'll enjoy it.
Coilovers aren't hard, just pricy. I wouldn't go eBay on the coilovers.
Head swaps are easy in my opinion. I did a complete motor swap, which was a pain for other reasons. But I replaced the headgasket, which is honestly the same thing as a head swap aside from wiring, and it wasn't nearly as bad.
The FAQ section on this forum is good. You can also check out the different year FAQs since the D-series motor is found elsewhere and there are plenty of good write ups out there. Also, google everything. Nothing you are doing to a Honda is original. It's been done before. Unless you are doing a mid engine, all wheel drive, J32, turbocharged, CRX. That might be a first. Good luck getting that transmission set up to work.
