You won't retain the RT4WD then. Is that okay?

I believe there are NOT adapters. You may be able use the LS motor with a D-series trans. I know they have D-series motors with B-series trans, I've seen that. Most people don't use do it the other way around. The B-series trans are stronger.

But if you swap in a LS transmission, you wouldn't be able to use the RT4WD system. I don't think the LS trans has the ability to send power to the rear end. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've seen people use the CRV AWD trans and the RT4WD rear end. That way you can run a B-series motor. Or I've seen people build Z6s.

If youre doing a b series swap, just get a 2wd wagon. Or do a mini swap, its easier than a z6 swap, because if you use the z6 block i think you have to drill a few extra holes for the halfshaft or something like that.

Or build a z6/a6 engine for turbo. That way you get vtec, turbo, and. Awd. Thats what i plan to do.

From what I read, Bisimoto did make a B series engine to D series trans adapter. Can't find any current info regarding that. I'd contact them and see if they are still selling it.

That's way cheaper than a CRV trans!

Psych. Jokes aside, I couldn't find that when I was searching for it.

I also agree with Ef4Doorwagon. If you want to do a straight LS swap, get a traditional FWD manual wagon. As far as extra holes for the Z6, I don't think so. The trans has all the shafts and such. The Z6 and A6 blocks are the same too.

Okay. Should have just left out the real time four wheel drive aspect from the get go.

I personally apologize for skipping your question. But the elephant in the room had to be addressed.

For an EF shell, that's simple.

Mounts: B series cable/hydro trans mounts depending on the transmission you chose. Companies range from HASport to Innovative. You can use billet or steel. You can go soft or hard.
$333
http://hasport.com/store/index.php/m...series-ef.html
$299
http://www.innovativemounts.com/Prod...uctCode=B19150
You can also opt for cheaper ones, but stick to name brand companies. Use eBay (Chinese) brand products at your own risk.

Axles should be 90-93 Integra axles.
Shift linkage should be Integra b-series, but trimmed about 3 inches for the shorter body. Just cut it out of the center. Or you can opt for a Innovative shift linkage for a little over $100.

Why not just do b to d and retain awd?

Seems like the AWD system may be missing. It was just a shell that he bought for cheap ($200). I'd bet the AWD parts were sold already.

@ free, If you use a full z6 you have to drill 2 extra holes for the intermediate shaft. The 4wd wagon uses same sized axels( i know this cuz the autoparts store gave me 2wd axles instead of 4wd, and the driver( on the 2wd) axle is longer. The intermediate shaft bolts onto the block. The a6s come with them. Z6 only have 1 out of 3 holes.
Also i dont think you can use a d series oil pan on b series, or am i wrong? But yeah the oil pan has to be from an a6, because the way the transfer case is set up. So im not sure you can just use an adapter plate to make it work, but i dont know alot about b series... just that it costs alot more.
And wagons weigh like 2500, after an ls its up 200 more. I think integras weigh just as much, so an ls in in a wagon isnt going to feel any better than driving a regular integra.
