1992 honda civic 6 volts to TPS on closed throttle
I have no clue why it would be getting 6 volts on closed throttle, where everywhere online I see it should be 0.5 closed 4.5 open. Engine model is a D15B7, with factory ECU and wiring. The TPS was tested with the engine off. This TPS is brand new, and upon acceleration, it sputters very badly above maybe 1500 RPM. Idles fine, sounds like it's about 400-500 RPM, and accelerates smoothly until 1500, then it feels like it's sputtering and might stall. feels like it has no power and exhaust smells of unburnt fuel, might be running excessively rich because of this? rotating the TPS does not seem to fix or even change anything.

based on that i would assume that the car isnt running right - correct? if the ecu and wiring are factory then it could be the tps itself that is causing the issue. a bit more info here would be helpful in letting people troubleshoot this for you
