Default 1990 rt oil pan

Hey, I've got a 1990 rt wagovan, cracked my oil pan because its lowered. Does the transfercase need to be dropped to remove the oil pan? thx...

According to the Helms, drain the engine oil, the transmission oil, drop the prop shaft (front to rear driveshaft), remove the transmission bash plate, remove the transfer case, remove the clutch cover, drop the oil pan.

bhahahah goodluck you pretty much drop half of the motor plus tranny also good luck finding a rt oil pan they are different from all sohc

You'll need to take apart that section of the transfer case (below). You don't have to drop half the motor.

It is a headache though. I've had to replace rt4wd oil pan before, it is rt4wd specific. Doesn't matter if automatic or manual, just make sure its rt4wd.
