Still using r12 I assume?

I think I just need a new compressor but I'm not entirely sure. How much would you want for the system?

And as for the A/C system, you can have everything from the harness to the condenser for $250. On the R12, I couldn't tell you. Literally everything in this car is factory so if that's what it came with.....

K well I'll think about it.
Kinda low on funds at this moment.

I have a red 90 si hatch that kind of matches your paint in places lol so when you get this running we can roll together and be like "Wud up".

Lol, "Wud Up" sounds good. Bet my paint looks better tho

Spent the evening cleaning up the bay a bit, removing unnecessary components, lines, etc. Didn't get to crack into the rack this evening, spent most of my time un-effing the harnesses. Does anyone have links to pics of good headlight harness tuck locations for the EF? Haven't looked much but if someone can shorten my look time it'd be much appreciated.

Also, still need an answer on the harness. With the Rywire harness ( http://rywire.com/store/8891-crxcivi...b18c-p-72.html ) will I still be using the harness for the D15B2 or can I remove it completely? OR.... should I completely ditch the harness for a factory GSR harness AND will it fit?

Electrical is my one big pitfall mechanically speaking. Any and all help would be awesome.

Yea you're right lol the paint on my car is "good" in some places. Namely the doors, rear quarter panels, and drivers side fender. You'll see what I'm talkin about one day.

you keep your stock harness. you need to run two more wires from the ecu to the injectors, two wires from the ecu to the distributor plug, replace the square plug with an "si" style one (can be found @ j/y's on several diff. types of cars, including 90-91 integras or civic/crx si's and crx hf's. also i think some acura legends have the plug you need)

this is the page i used both times i converted my hatch's to MPFI.

Sweet man, thanks for the link. So with this conversion and the Rywire sub-harness, I should have no problems with the GSR and P72?

you can't run the p72 i believe since its obd2 idk if they have an 0bd0-obd2 jumper? if they dont you have to run a different ECU..

i've never heard of an obd1 P72 and if there is such a thing its going to be freaking hard to find, can't you run a P28 with the gsr?

The guy I picked the swap up off of removed it from his 94 GSR to swap in a B18C5. He kept all interchangeable parts for the new motor, hence why I'm hunting for everything else BUT also why we picked it up for a grand So as long as this is the same ECU he pulled from the car, it's an OBD1 P72.

Is there a way to check the diagnostics series from the ECU sticker? Just to be safe

you can but you have to run a different intake manifold, like from a c5 b16 ls or aftermarket that doesn't have the mid manifold butter fly valves. the p28 doesn't know to look for them (i think they are called iab's?) and so mid range power suffers. idk all that i got from wrywires site...

Yeah, read the same on Rywires site. But from reading through the same page, it appears as though it should be plug and play after the MPFI convert and with the P72 I currently have.

So the IM would be good as is with the P72 as it acknowledges the IAB's.

The Phoenix Red LX sedans came with Black interior. Yes in the US market. It says so right in the brochure.

I even highlighted it for you.

@ the OP, your interior is probably just faded. The actual grey interior is much lighter then your interior, and the blue is really really blue.

Example of Grey:

Good luck on the build.

Well, after closer inspection, I suppose the interior is black. All trim pieces are in black but the grey on the seats and the floor mats look like faded blue and the carpet looks like a dark dark blue. Just threw me off a bit..... been spending most of my time under the hood anyhow

Dash should be in the back seat this evening. Progress and pics later.

While I'm doing all of this, anyone know of any needed write-ups/how-tos? Might as well while we're in there.
