multitracks

Just in time for winter, my sunroof is stuck in the open position. When I press the button to close the sunroof, there is no sound coming from the sunroof motor. But when I press the open button, I can hear the motor working. I already checked the switch with a volt-meter and am almost positive that it is functioning properly. I have also tried physically pulling on the sunroof glass while pressing the close button without success.

Has anyone had any similar problems they were able to fix easily? Is there a separate motor for opening and closing the sunroof? Is there an easy way to access the motor(s) to check the status?

Any help would be much appriciated!!
